What we look at, how old it is, and what our grades do and do not claim. If you are going to act on this work, you should know where it came from.
V-Rail draws on three kinds of source:
The providers we rely on, and the legal basis for processing, are named in the privacy policy (§5, sub-processors). V-Rail is not a data broker: we do not sell, license, or redistribute contact databases, and bulk export is not a feature.
We never show data as fresher than it is. Every analysis is stamped with the moment it was run, and figures carried inside it are the figures as of that moment — not a live feed.
Sources age at different speeds. A pricing page may have changed this morning; a headcount figure may be weeks behind the company’s own reality. Where we are not confident a number is current, we say so rather than quietly presenting it as fact. Where a source could not be reached at all, the analysis says that too, instead of filling the gap.
Re-running an analysis re-reads the sources and re-stamps the result.
A fit grade is a recommendation, not a verdict. It is our reading of how closely a company resembles the buyers your business is built to serve. It is not a verified assessment, not a prediction that they will reply, and not a promise that they will buy.
We publish grades so you can spend your attention in a better order than alphabetical. You remain the decision-maker. Verify before you rely on anything here for a business decision — this is also written into the Terms (§7).
The facts are free. Your Scorecard — who your best-fit buyers appear to be, and why — costs nothing and requires no account.
What you pay for is the finished work: the contact resolved and checked, the outreach written for a specific buyer, the analysis assembled into something you can act on. We do not put a bare, sourced fact behind a paywall, and we do not present a guess as a fact to fill a paid page.
